Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the Risk, Safety and Claims team.
  • Oversee vehicle and safety compliance.
  • Strong ability to work independently for periods of time.
  • Develop, measure and present KPIs.
  • Ensure services are operated safely and reliably.
  • Supervise investigations of incidents and accidents and develop corrective action plans.
  • Identify and inform management of compliance issues, safety risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Responsible for overseeing safety on a territory-wide basis that includes loss-prevention, and accident investigation.
  • Remain up to date with current standards of care, including equipment functions and uses and all certifications, licenses and registrations.
  • Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer, accountable to the Insurance Steering Committee.
  • Responsible for risk, safety, and employee well-being across all environments.
  • Plan, organize, and administer the company’s global comprehensive loss prevention and control program.
  • End-to-end responsibility for all DocGo insurance programs, including GL/PL/auto/workers comp/cyber/business property/other specialty policies for existing markets and new ventures across the U.S.
  • Manage and monitor/adjust coverage limits/expirations/loss run analytics. Provide strategic counsel and tactical execution of all binder requirements, and policy renewals and amendments.
  • Respond to numerous daily queries from brokers, underwriters, carriers, actuaries, finance, leadership, business development teams, and the regions.
  • Manage regulatory inspections and enquiries and direct insurance- and safety related regulatory requirements. Follow through with regulatory agencies, including OSHA, Department of Labor, and others.
  • Oversee the management of numerous daily complaints/requests generated through the Risk Management hotline system.
  • Oversee insurance policy renewal competitive bid processes.
  • Analyze potential exposures, and spearhead related remedial work plans.
  • Review insurance provider contracts, direct the development of the program budget, and monitor performance against funding and expense requirements.
  • Interpret laws, policies, and procedures and provide leadership and direction to internal committees to ensure risk mitigation compliance and reduce risk exposure.
  • Build high visibility support for Risk Management and loss control initiatives, engaging stakeholders at all levels.

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of Risk Management experience required; certifications preferred
  • 10+ years of Insurance experience required; certifications preferred
