We are seeking a sales-obsessed, energetic leader with experience closing multi-year B2B recurring revenue and technology installation and service deals.

The Sales Director will be responsible for leading our sales team in the promotion and sale of our comprehensive range of Fire Alarm systems and related services. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in sales leadership, business development, and client relationship management within the fire protection or related industry. The successful candidate will ideally possess excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of fire alarm systems, and a strong ability to drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies.

Reporting to the President, and based in midtown Manhattan, the Sales Director will assume responsibility for all aspects of DGA’s Fire Sales. This key leadership opportunity will be instrumental in impacting the direction and shaping the growth of our Fire Alarm business. The Director of Fire Alarm Sales needs to be a self-starter with a passion for implementing growth-based sales strategies and developing others.

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree a plus.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in sales leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, analyze market trends, and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing fire protection systems.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
