We’re looking for an Operations, Health, and safety Intern to support our Operations and Office Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to learn and work in a fast-paced environment where you will build business relationships and develop necessary skills to work in a corporate setting.

The Operations, Health, and Safety Intern will report primarily into the Senior Manager of Operations and the VP of Global Security team to contribute to facilities management, and employee health and safety.

  • The program will run from June 3rd, 2024 –August 16th 2024
  • The Operations, Health and Safety Intern is a paid full-time position, working 40 hours a week.
  • Omni work is available and determined by business need.

Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Creating engaging PowerPoint presentations on company trainings, safety announcements and mental health initiatives.
  • Sending correspondents and communications on upcoming company events
  • Tracking and organizing responses for employee engagement surveys
  • Collaborating with Senior leadership on creating new directives for employee wellness, Health, and Safety

Job Requirements

We’d love to see candidates who have:

Essential:

  • Students who are working toward a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Must be able to work 40 hours per week during the summer of 2024
  • Exceptional organizational skills and great attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using excel and other Microsoft office applications
  • Ability to work independently

Desirable:

  • Degree concentration in areas relating to occupational safety, business administration, communications, hospitality, and human resources
  • Team oriented with strong interpersonal Skills
  • A natural aptitude for problem solving and critical thinking
  • A curious mind open to knowledge and instruction
