Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technicians to join our team. In this role you will need to be familiar with the equipment, installation, and commissioning of low voltage systems and have at least journeyman level installation and troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities
- Install fire alarm, fire life safety, and other low voltage systems in medium and large commercial buildings.
- Responsible for executing the installation project plan provided, including equipment delivery, troubleshooting, commissioning, and interfacing with other trades to successfully complete projects while exceeding customer expectations.
- Resolve field problems related to fire alarm and low voltage systems through research of multiple alternatives.
- Coordinate project activities with other trades at the work locations to optimize installation time.
- Communicate and effectively interact with other contractors and building owners.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational product manuals for fire alarm and related systems.
- Identify out-of-scope requests by the contractor or customer and notify management of pending changes.
- Identify and assist with suggested solutions for efficient installation to complete scope.
- Assist customers on site with all fire alarm and low voltage system questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Effectively communicate project status to management.
- Complete all appropriate company paperwork as required.
- Industry-related NICET and/or State License is preferred, but not necessary to apply.
Job Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Applicants must meet requirements in relation to background and driving record.
- Must be proficient in the use and application of industry related equipment including MS Office.
- Must have excellent communications skills, using tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers.
- Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing a ladder, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 60 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
- Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools as required and lifting to 75lbs.
