Job Summary
MUST HAVE YOUR OWN SECURITY GUARD LICENSE - LOOKING FOR ARMED AND UNARMED.
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires keen observation skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week

Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems, including CCTV.
- Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized access and ensure safety.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement when necessary.
- Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks or hazards.
- Provide first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations.
- Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict resolution skills to de-escalate tense situations.
- Document incidents and prepare reports detailing observations and actions taken during shifts.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior or activities.
Job Requirements
Experience
- Previous experience in security roles or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment and monitoring systems is highly desirable.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus; additional certifications related to security are advantageous.
- Experience in conflict management and loss prevention strategies will be beneficial for this role.
- A background in military service may also be considered an asset for candidates applying for this position.
