Fire Guard – Chance Compliance and Investigations LLC
Pay Rate: $17–$20 per hour
Location: Various indoor and outdoor posts throughout NYC
License Requirement: Must possess a valid F-01, F-02, F-03, or F-04 Fire Guard License
Position Summary:
We are seeking vigilant and professional Fire Guards to join our team. Candidates must be proactive, dependable, and customer service-oriented. Fire Guards are responsible for maintaining a secure environment, monitoring assigned areas, and responding appropriately to incidents.
Work Conditions:
Assignments may be located at both indoor and outdoor sites throughout New York City. Flexibility and adaptability to various environments are essential.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Control access to designated areas
- Secure and monitor assigned post locations
- Conduct foot patrols and remain at fixed posts as required
- Observe and report all incidents, accidents, and suspicious activity
- Take initiative to confront and resolve situations professionally
- Maintain a high level of security and safety awareness at all times
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed, with mutual agreement
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid F-01, F-02, F-03, or F-04 Fire Guard License
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills
- Must be customer service-oriented and professional in demeanor and appearance
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Punctual, reliable, and responsible
