As a Security Guard - Manufacturing Patrol Driver in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing excellent customer service and clear communication while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity. Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner in a manufacturing and industrial environment.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Observe and report security-related incidents or suspicious activity according to site protocols.
- Support Allied Universal and client staff by maintaining a visible presence and assisting with access control as needed.
- Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal management for the assigned manufacturing and industrial site.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities as required.

Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
