As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol - Full Time in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas while remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. This position is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor for unusual activity and report security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors with security-related inquiries and access as needed.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
- Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs specific to the manufacturing and industrial environment.
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
