Work Environment
Work in jobsite settings at customer facilities. Personal protective equipment is provided by the employer, excluding safety shoes. This hands-on role involves working alongside experienced technicians, offering on-the-job training and career advancement opportunities in the fire protection industry.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Assist lead technician with reviewing and understanding new project information.
- Work in compliance with industry standards and codes such as NFPA 72, NFPA 17, and NEC.
- Use hand and power tools for mechanical work and installation tasks.
- Pull wire through conduit, walls, and drop ceilings as part of system installations.
- Bend, cut, and install conduit following the NEC code.
- Obtain and maintain relevant certifications and credentials.
- Support technicians during fire systems testing, inspection, and service calls.
Job Requirements
Essential Skills
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and electricity fundamentals.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overnight shifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school experience is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of blueprints and wiring schematics.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a drug screening.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as NICET, OSHA, BICSI, ICC, or Electrician License are a plus.
- Prior experience installing fire alarms and/or fire suppression systems.
- Experience installing in industrial and commercial environments.
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work on ladders or at heights.
- Positive attitude and desire to learn.
