Location: Houston, Texas (Spring / The Woodlands area)

Schedule: Thursdays through Sundays | 6:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. (28 hours/week)

A2A Security Agency Inc. is seeking a professional, resident-focused Residential Security Officer for an upscale multi-building apartment community in the greater Houston area. The property features landscaped grounds, resort-style amenities, and a peaceful atmosphere, and we are looking for an officer who can help protect that environment while delivering excellent customer service. Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 7 – 40 per week

Responsibilities
Key Duties
- Provide a visible, courteous security presence at gates, entrances, and common areas.
- Monitor vehicle and pedestrian access; verify visitors and vendors in line with community rules.
- Conduct regular foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and amenities (pool, fitness center, walking paths, etc.). (MapQuest)
- Address noise complaints, loitering, and other violations professionally and in accordance with site procedures.
- Observe and report suspicious behavior, safety hazards, and maintenance issues.
- Assist with conflict de-escalation between residents, guests, or visitors when needed.
- Respond to incidents such as disturbances, medical situations, fire alarms, or property damage and coordinate with emergency services when required.
- Complete clear, accurate activity and incident reports before the end of each shift.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Current Texas Security Guard License (Texas DPS) – required.
- 2–3+ years of security experience; residential, multifamily, or gated-community experience is a strong asset.
- Strong communication skills and a calm, confident presence with residents and guests.
- Professional appearance, high level of discretion, and strong sense of responsibility.
- Comfortable working evening and late-night hours outdoors and indoors.
- Able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods and respond quickly to emergencies.
- Reliable, punctual, and available for the fixed schedule Thursday to Sunday, 6:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.
