JEA

About the company

JEA is the largest municipal utility in Florida and one of the largest in the country, providing energy and water services to more than one million residents and businesses in Northeast Florida. JEA's 2,200-plus workforce provides foundational services for our customers' needs, today and for generations to come.

As a municipal utility, JEA is dedicated to serving our customers and delivering reliable, sustainable services at reasonable rates. We work to keep our rates as low as possible and help customers find ways to conserve and save on their monthly utility bills.

JEA owns and operates an Electric System with four generating plants, and all transmission and distribution facilities, including 744 circuit miles of transmission lines. We have supported the use of solar energy since the 1990s and currently have eight solar farms. JEA is adding more solar farms and improving our diversity of energy with more clean energy sources.
