Wolverine Fire Protection is looking for a Senior Estimator who will be responsible for overseeing fire protection estimation and ensuring the successful profitability of projects.

Responsibilities
Job Duties/Responsibilities for Senior Estimator:
- Review blueprints, specs, and addenda to prepare detailed material takeoffs, labor, and equipment cost calculations for large-scale projects.
- Ensure all designs and estimates adhere to NFPA standards and local building codes.
- Solicit and analyze subcontractor and vendor pricing to secure competitive bids.
- Analyze, value engineering, and strategize margins to ensure profitability, often for complex projects.
- Work with engineering, project management, and sales teams to align on scope and facilitate project handoff.
- Provide guidance to junior estimators, review their work, and maintain accurate, organized documentation.
Job Requirements
Requirements for Senior Estimator:
- Deep understanding of NFPA standards (e.g., NFPA 13, 14, 20) and fire protection system design.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret construction documents.
- Strong negotiation skills to interact with contractors and clients.
- Self-driven with superior follow-through skills and timely response to request for information
