- We are seeking a Fire Sprinkler Layout Technician with a minimum of 5 years of CAD or Sprinkler Design experience. We are a full-service organization from Sales, Design, Fabrication, inspections, and Installation.
Responsibilities
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Layout Fire Protection Systems for all types of projects including Industrial, Commercial and Residential. Perform layout using AutoCad/HydraCad, SprinkCAD, AutoSPRINK and create hydraulic calculations & pipe lists for fabrication. Understand and apply NFPA standards, and various code officials.
- Design & Layout of Fire Sprinkler Systems
- BIM modeling - Navis Works Manage
- REVIT
- Hydraulic Calculations
- Field Surveying - work off ladders, scaffolds, & lifts
- Listing for Fabrication
- Coordination between Trades
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must be organized, efficient and work well with the other members of the design team, shop and field personnel.
Work Experience:
- NICET II or III certification required.
- High mechanical interest.
- AutoCad experience and/or HydraCad, SprinkCAD or AutoSPRINK experience required
- Navis/Revit experience required
- Ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal), self-motivated with great organizational skills.
