Responsibilities
What You'll Do
- Install Systems: Safely install residential (CPVC/plastic) and commercial (steel) fire sprinkler systems.
- Read Plans: Interpret blueprints, construction plans, and layouts accurately.
- Build & Troubleshoot: Install, modify, and troubleshoot fire sprinkler piping networks according to NFPA 13, 13R, and 13D standards.
- Own the Jobsite: Work independently while maintaining high productivity and clean craftsmanship.
- Communicate: Represent Symons professionally when talking with builders, inspectors, and jobsite superintendents.
Job Requirements
- Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on fire sprinkler installation or construction trade experience with a proven ability to read blueprints
- Credentials:
- Current OSHA 10 Card (or willingness to obtain one within the first 90 days of employment)
- Able to obtain Blaze Master Installation Training Card (or willingness to obtain one within the first 90 days of employment).
- Core Skills: Strong communication skills (must be able to read, write, and speak English for jobsite safety instructions), reliable attendance, and basic familiarity
