About the Opportunity
We're partnering with a growing MEP consulting engineering firm that's looking to add a Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer to its expanding team. The firm works on a diverse portfolio of projects including multifamily residential, hospitality, healthcare, K-12, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

The Role
We're seeking a Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer with 2–10 years of experience who enjoys both design and problem-solving. You'll work on projects from concept through construction, collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and clients throughout the design process.
This position is a great fit for:
- A junior or mid-level engineer looking to take on more ownership and expand their responsibilities.
- An experienced designer or engineer who enjoys staying involved in hands-on design while mentoring others and contributing to project success.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Design plumbing and fire protection systems for a variety of building types.
- Perform hydraulic calculations and system sizing for fire protection systems.
- Prepare construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Coordinate with architects, owners, and other engineering disciplines.
- Participate in all phases of design, including Schematic Design (SD), Design Development (DD), Construction Documents (CD), and Construction Administration (CA).
- Assist with project coordination, client communication, and technical problem-solving throughout project delivery.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- 2–10 years of experience designing plumbing and fire protection systems.
- Experience with both new construction and renovation projects.
- Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Experience with commercial, multifamily, hospitality, healthcare, educational, or mixed-use projects.
- Strong communication, organization, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- PE license or EIT certification is a plus.
