Responsibilities
Job Description:
- Perform inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance of fire alarm systems and related life safety equipment.
- Follow scheduled inspection routes and service commitments.
- Complete inspection reports, service tickets, and documentation using the client software and mobile applications.
- Identify system deficiencies, impairments, and code-related issues and communicate findings to customers and management.
- Support service calls and emergency customer requests as needed.
- Maintain assigned tools, test equipment, vehicle stock, and safety equipment.
- Work closely with customers, service coordinators, supervisors, and account managers to ensure successful project execution.
- Adhere to all the client safety policies and complete required pre-job safety assessments.
- Maintain compliance with NFPA standards, local AHJ requirements, and client operating procedures
Job Requirements
Qualifications Required
- High school diploma or state-recognized GED.
- Ability to read and understand design and construction documents.
- Ability to use hand tools, laptops, smartphones, tablets, and PC-based systems for documentation and reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong customer-facing and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team while providing dedicated support to customers.
- Ability to carry and move equipment, tools, and materials weighing up to 75 pounds without assistance.
- Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
- Valid driver's license with clean DMV Record
