Responsibilities
The Opportunity with McKinstry
We are adding a Fire Protection Designer II to our growing Fire Protection division in Spokane, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Attending BIM coordination meetings.
- Making necessary changes and provide detailed feedback to Senior designer.
- Modifying generic layout to meet code and project spec's provided at Sales handoff.
- Assisting in submittal package including hydraulic calculations.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry
- Effective written and verbal communication skills required.
- Proficient in AutoCAD & Revit required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cloud-based software systems required. Ability to prioritize tasks required.
- Ability to deal with conflict and build positive team relationships required.
- Has or can obtain Nicet Level II in water-based layout within 6 months of hire required.
