Salary: $58,200 - $92,000.00 (Tech II)
What your job will be like:
Conduct inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire detection and suppression systems, resolving issues and restoring systems to service while escalating complex problems when needed. Support system upgrades, commissioning, and minor modifications, documenting all work through established controls and coordinating with trades, ES&H, and subcontractors. Assist with elevator inspection and maintenance activities by managing access, supporting subcontractors, and tracking corrective actions to ensure reliability and compliance.

Responsibilities
In this job you will:
- Perform inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire detection (including VESDA and gas detection) and suppression systems in accordance with NFPA standards and site requirements.
- Troubleshoot system issues, performs preventive and corrective maintenance, and restores systems to service; escalates complex problems to the Fire Protection Coordinator or Engineering.
- Support minor system modifications, upgrades, and commissioning activities under direction of the Fire Protection Coordinator and in coordination with Engineering.
- Execute work through Facilities Operations work control systems; document all activities and coordinate with other trades, ES&H, and subcontractors to support planned work and impairments.
- Support elevator inspection, testing, and maintenance activities by coordinating access, assisting subcontractors, and tracking corrective actions to ensure compliance and reliability.
Job Requirements
Experience
- Required: 5 or more years relevant experience
Education
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience and Education Exchange
Education above the minimum may be substituted for experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Willingness to learn the trade.
- Team oriented attitude.
- Ability to identify schedule conflicts within the group and provide solutions.
