Responsibilities

Here's what you'll need

  • Bachelors degree in construction or other equivalent degree, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of diploma
  • At least 7 years of construction site experience
  • At least 7 years of experience as a general foreman, superintendent, and/or construction manager
  • Experience with HVAC, fire protection piping systems, fire suppression systems, equipment installation, testing, flushing and turnover.
  • Prior experience managing contractors.

Job Requirements

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Pharma experience
  • Collaborate in planning, design, construction and commissioning
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Proficient in use of software as Power Point, Excel, Word, Bluebeam
  • Facilitate and coordinate walkdowns and meetings and/or reviews with owner and designers
  • Participate and provide feedback on constructability reviews and interactive planning sessions (IAP)
  • Lead client and construction meetings.
  • Safety leader (JHA’s revision / daily signed off permits)
  • QA field construction activities
  • Turn over process including TOP’s, punch list and walkdowns with contractors and owners.

Physical requirements

  • Working extended hours to support field supervision and sometimes under extreme weather conditions.
  • Stamina to walk large job sites, climb stairs or ladders and remain on your feet for extended periods.
  • Ability to move around construction sites, including uneven terrain, scaffolding, or tight spaces.
  • Must be able to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach as needed to inspect work or access certain areas.
  • Not always required but ability to lift moderate weights (up to 40lbs.) to move materials or equipment.
  • Good vision is essential for reading blueprints, inspecting work, and ensuring safety compliance.
  • Strong hearing in order to be fully aware of your surroundings
  • Manual dexterity to handle tools or equipment with precision and control for inspections and daily tasks.
  • Good balance for navigating scaffolding, ladders, or temporary structures.
  • Coordinating and managing multiple tasks and safety standards.
