Position is located at our Southborough, MA district office.

POSITION SUMMARY:

To manage the project operations of the District & Office. To provide management and oversight to the Managers of the Fire Alarm Projects Division and Fire Sprinkler Projects Division. Work to achieve the financial, operational and customer satisfaction goals established by Regional Management.

This position is a senior operations management position that reports to Regional and Senior Management. The District General Manager is responsible for meeting any financial and operational goals developed by Senior Management as well as developing such goals for the Impact Fire Systems teams.

Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with the Regional or Senior Manager to develop company-wide financial and operational goals
  • Develop financial and operational goals for Impact Fire Project Managers
  • Closely manage revenue and cost control; work to correct any company-wide budgetary deficiencies
  • Lead the technical and administrative personnel in providing a high level of customer service
  • Learn and ensure compliance with all applicable industry codes
  • Protect the company’s assets
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by a Managing Member

Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Operational management experience or comparable fire protection project industry experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all product lines and services offered by Impact Fire Services.
  • Knowledge of all industry codes applicable to the Fire Protection as well as local, state, and federal labor and workplace laws.
  • Competency with the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn the Company’s information systems applications.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Experience with or skills needed in designing, implementing, and maintaining safe working procedures.
  • Well-developed interviewing and hiring skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
  • Strong work ethic and professional appearance.
  • The ability to fit in with our culture of teamwork.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements.
  • Willingness to travel out of town including overnight lodging.
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
  • A strong work ethic and professional appearance.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Self-starter that can work with little to no supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
  • Strong working knowledge of NFPA codes.
  • Ability to adhere to, implement, and always follow safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.

In addition to the above, the most desirable candidate will have:

  • A four-year college degree in management or business administration or comparable experience
  • Industry licensing or certification of competency in fire alarms and commercial fire sprinkler systems
