About The Opportunity
The Sprinkler Fitter is responsible for the installation, inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems in commercial, industrial, and residential buildings. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of fire protection codes, and the ability to work safely and efficiently on job sites.
Compensation
- Pay is hourly and is negotiable - dependent on candidate experience

Responsibilities
Job Duties
- Install, modify, and repair fire sprinkler systems in accordance with project specifications and applicable codes
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and hydraulic calculations
- Measure, cut, thread, groove, and assemble pipe using hand and power tools
- Hang and secure piping systems, including supports and seismic bracing
- Perform system testing, inspections, and troubleshooting
- Coordinate work with other trades and contractors on site
- Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, local codes, and safety regulations
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition
- Complete required documentation, reports, and timekeeping accurately
- Participate in on-call or after-hours emergency service as needed
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of sprinkler fitter apprenticeship or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of applicable fire codes (e.g., NFPA 13, NFPA 25)
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
- Proficiency with pipefitting tools and equipment
- Valid driver's license
