About the Role
We’re looking for a Fire Alarm Designer with NICET certification to join a fully remote team. Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Design and produce fire alarm system layouts in accordance with NFPA 72 and local codes.
- Prepare drawings, calculations, and submittal packages.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and AHJs.
- Review plans, specifications, and RFIs.
- Support project execution from concept through construction.
- Ensure all designs meet code compliance and client requirements.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- NICET certification in Fire Alarm Systems (Level II or higher preferred).
- Proven experience in fire alarm system design.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 72 and applicable codes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work remotely.
