We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Fire Protection Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of fire protection system projects. Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage fire protection projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Coordinate with designers, estimators, engineers, and field personnel to develop and execute project plans.
  • Manage all project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout packages.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction), and internal teams.
  • Oversee procurement of materials and subcontracted services to meet project timelines.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure work quality, safety, and adherence to plans and specifications.
  • Monitor project financials, track costs, and report progress to leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national fire codes (NFPA 13, 14, 20, 25, etc.).
  • Resolve project-related issues promptly and effectively to avoid delays or cost overruns.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 3–7 years of project management experience in fire protection, mechanical, or MEP construction.
  • Strong knowledge of fire protection systems including sprinkler, standpipe, and fire pump systems.

  • Experience with fire protection design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or HydraCAD is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • NICET certification or PMP certification is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
