The Health & Safety Manager performs a range of duties related to health and safety management and supports the implementation of the company's Safety Management System. The role works with company and client personnel to promote safe work practices and reduce the risk of accidents and injuries at assigned sites.

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the wage range for this role is $76,640 - $114,960. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).

Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Provide safety support to D&Z Lone Star employees to reduce the potential for accidents, personal injuries or property damage. 25%
- Inspect the organization’s and site project facilities to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, determine corrective or preventative measures where indicated, and follow up to ensure measures have been implemented. 25%
- Conduct safety orientation and training to assure compliance with site, local, state and federal laws and guidelines. 20%
- Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses (both property and personal) and suggest methods to be implemented to help reduce potential for recurrence 15%
- Plan and implement programs to train managers and employees in work site safety problems, fire prevention, and correct techniques for working with chemicals, toxins, equipment and other materials. 15%

Job Requirements
KSAs (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Strong communications skills
- Ability to deliver safety training.
- Strong influence skills.
- Excellent knowledge of OSHA General Industry and Construction regulations, and ANSI Standards.
- Good computer skills with programs such as MS Office suite, etc
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) In related field Required
- 5+ years Safety Experience Required
