American Ordnance is looking for a dedicated Fire Protective Services Supervisor to lead critical fire, rescue, EMS, hazmat, and training operations. Responsibilities

As the Fire Protective Services Supervisor here’s the work you’ll do:

  • Direct responsibility for the operations of their assigned platoon including but not limited to fire, rescue extrication, haz-mat, ambulance, training, and day to day non-emergency activities.
  • Assures and understands the necessity to continuously improve processes and systems under their control and to meet both internal and external customer needs.
  • Accurately completes required reports (local and state) and assures that all records and personal observations are kept in the strictest confidence.
  • When first on an emergency scene will assume Incident Command and maintain as directed.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness, care and efficient utilization, storage, and maintenance of all assigned AO and Government property.
  • Responsible for Training, Reports, Records and overall operations of one of the three following categories - Fire Operations/Training, EMS Operations/Training, Fire Inspections/Testing.

Job Requirements

This role is for you if you have these Qualifications:

  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required.
  • Must possess a valid REAL ID-compliant driver’s license, which includes the gold or black star in the upper corner, indicating it is federally compliant OR Current Passport.
  • Valid Class D Chauffeur Driver’s License Required.
  • 3 + years experience in Firefighting and emergency patient care (ambulance) Required.
  • International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC), Fire Service Professional Qualifications System (Pro Board) or Department of Defense (DOD) classifications of: Fire Fighter I Required.
  • Firefighter II, Fire Inspector I, Fire Instructor I, Fire Officer I, Minimum of AEMT, Driver Operator Pumper, Hazmat Technician Required.
  • Must pass quarterly and yearly physical agility testing.
  • Must be able to obtain secret clearance.
