Our office has shown tremendous growth over the last 5-6 years, and we've got a high-performing design team of around 10-15 people. Currently, we're seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer to join a team that leverages AutoSprink and HydraCAD.

Responsibilities
What You Will Be Doing
Design fire protection sprinkler systems
Review work order and procedural manuals to determine critical dimensions of design
Make hydraulic calculations on all projects
Submit drawings for approval and permit acquisitions
Conduct field surveys
Provide a material list for fabrication
Communicate with team members inside and outside the organization
Attend project meetings when necessary
Maintain job status reports for the project management cycle
Job Requirements
What You Need for this Position
High School Diploma or GED
3+ years of Fire Sprinkler Design experience
Active NICET 1 or 2 certification
Strong CAD Designing experience with HydraCAD, AutoSPRINK, or SprinkCAD
Experience with BIM modeling and field surveying
Experience designing Wet, Dry, Pre-action, Deluge, and other systems
Experience designing Fire Pump systems
Experience designing commercial, industrial, educational, retail, municipal, and healthcare systems
Knowledge of NFPA 13, 13D, 13R, 14, 20, and associated Codes/Standards
Strong mathematical skills
