About the Position
Cosco Fire Protection is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Inspector / Service Technician to join our growing Life Safety team in Savannah, GA. This position is responsible for inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, servicing, and documenting commercial fire alarm and life safety systems.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Perform fire alarm inspections and testing in accordance with NFPA 72, applicable fire codes, and manufacturer requirements.
- Troubleshoot and repair fire alarm systems and related life safety equipment.
- Identify deficiencies and clearly document findings and recommendations.
- Complete inspection and service reports accurately and on time.
- Work with customers and property representatives professionally while performing service.
- Test initiating devices, notification appliances, control panels, power supplies, batteries, and associated equipment.
- Respond to service calls and troubleshoot system issues.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure required documentation is completed.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain a professional appearance.
- Communicate with the office, service department, and customers regarding system conditions and required repairs.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Previous experience with commercial fire alarm systems preferred.
- Knowledge of NFPA 72 and applicable fire/life safety codes.
- Experience with inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of fire alarm systems.
- NICET certification is a plus.
- Manufacturer certifications such as Notifier, Siemens, Edwards, Fire-Lite, Silent Knight, etc., are a plus.
- Valid California driver's license and good driving record.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily assignments.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to use a smartphone/tablet for electronic reports and documentation.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
