Responsibilities
🛠️ What You’ll Do
- Assist technicians with installing fire alarm devices, wiring, conduit, and equipment.
- Support fire alarm testing and inspections under supervision.
- Help identify and document system deficiencies and issues.
- Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools, materials, and equipment.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow project drawings, instructions, and OSHA/company safety procedures.
- Assist with troubleshooting as your skills develop.
- Participate in safety meetings and required training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
⭐ What You Bring
- High school diploma required.
- Previous construction or electrical experience is a plus, but not required.
- Basic mechanical or electrical aptitude preferred.
- Basic computer and Microsoft skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Ability to obtain required licenses or certifications as applicable.
💪 The Job
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and ladder climbing.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Field-based work at commercial and industrial job sites.
- Exposure to varying weather, noise, and active construction environments.
- Overtime may be required.
