Responsibilities
The Opportunity
You will serve as a vital technical expert ensuring the safety and compliance of critical fire suppression systems across the New England region. This role offers the opportunity to drive high-quality service standards while working within a supportive team that values professional growth and technical mastery. You will have the autonomy to manage complex field inspections and repairs for a company known for its regional footprint and reliability.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Execute comprehensive inspections, testing, and maintenance of diverse fire sprinkler systems to ensure peak operational readiness.
- Diagnose and repair complex system deficiencies across wet, dry, anti-freeze, and pre-action configurations.
- Maintain precise digital documentation of inspection reports and service records using mobile software platforms.
- Coordinate with office staff and customers to resolve real-time technical issues and explain compliance requirements.
- Service specialized equipment including fire pumps, backflow preventers, and deluge systems in strict accordance with NFPA standards.
- Represent the company as a professional field lead, maintaining high customer service standards during on-site evaluations.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Valid Massachusetts sprinkler license is required for this position.
- Proven experience performing inspections and service repairs on commercial sprinkler systems.
- In-depth knowledge of NFPA standards and local fire safety compliance requirements.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently in a field environment.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Possession of a Rhode Island sprinkler license is highly preferred.
- Advanced technical proficiency in troubleshooting specialized deluge and pre-action systems.
- Demonstrated experience using mobile tablets and software for field reporting and documentation.
