Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. The working environment and conditions may vary based on the location.
- Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences within the manufacturing and industrial setting.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding security-related matters and/or incidents.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points within the location to help to deter unauthorized access.
- Document and maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
